The Sejong Institute opened a panel at the 2022 Korea Global Forum for Peace hosted by the Unification Ministry at the Millennium Hilton Hotel in Seoul on August 30 to discuss the theme of "Peace Game on the Korean Peninsula: Simulating the Denuclearization Negotiations with North Korea." 

The panel was a follow-up to the online peace game co-hosted by Sejong Institute, the USIP, and the Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft in 2021. The panel was hosted by Lee Sang-hyun, Presiednt of the Sejong Institute and participated by Frank Aum (USIP), Jun Bong-geun (Korea National Diplomatic Academy), Kim Young-joon (Korea National Defense University), Kim Jungsup (the Sejong Institute), Chun In-bum (former South Korean Army Lieutenant general), and Kim Kwangjin (Sookmyung Women's University). They discussed ways to advance the peace game face-to-face based on last year's achievements.
