The Sejong Institute held the Korea-India Strategic Forum in collaboration with the India Foundation and the Indian Embassy at the Somerset Palace Hotel Seoul Seminar Room on Friday, August 26, 2022.
The forum was presided over by Choi Yoon-jung, Director of the Department of Diplomatic Strategy Studies of the Sejong Institute under the heading "New Horizon of India-Korea Partnership in the Indo-Pacific Era."
Surinder Bhagat, Acting Indian Ambassador to Korea, Ram Madhav, founder of India Foundation, Sonu Trivedi, Director of Indian Cultural Centre, Former Ambassador Shin Bong-kil, Moon Chung-in, Chairman of the Sejong Institute, Lee Sang Hyun, President, and Kim Jungsup, Vice President, attended the forum.
Cho Choong-jae, the Head of India-South Asia Team of Korea Institute for International Economic Policy and Jean Joseph, Professor at Mahatma Gandhi University presented under the theme of "Korea-India Economic Security Cooperation"; Ji Yeon-jung, professor at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies and Colonel Rakesh Kumar Mishra of the Indian Embassy presented under the theme of "the new horizon for South Korea-India security cooperation".
