On November 10 (Tue.), 2020, the Sejong Institute and Korea National Defense University (KNDU) co-hosted an international conference on the topic of “Intensifying Competition for Global Strategy and Rise of Non-traditional Security Issues” at the Westin Chosun Seoul. President PAIK Haksoon of the Sejong Institute and President KIM Sung Il of KNDU opened the event with their speeches, and experts from both in and out of academia participated in discussions. The event consisted of following three sessions: “The New U.S. Administration and Competition for Global Strategy,” “Intensifying Competition for Global Strategy and the Korean Peninsula,” and “Diversifying Security Issues and Non-traditional Security.”
