The 27th Sejong-CICIR joint video conference began with Vice President Fujiping's welcoming speech and Sejong Research Institute Director Lee Sang-hyun's exploration due to personal circumstances by CICIR Director Yuan Peng of the China Institute for Modern International Relations. In the first session hosted by CICIR Vice President Fujiping, under the theme of "U.S.-China relations and Northeast Asian Situation," CICIR Research Institute researcher Yang Won-jing (head of the Korean Peninsula Research Center) and Sejong Institute guest researcher Lee Dong-min (Professor of Political Diplomacy at Dankook University) presented.
In the second session, Jeong Jae-heung, a researcher at Sejong Institute, and Chun Xiang-yang, a vice researcher at CICIR Northeast Asia Research Institute, presented the theme of "Korean Peninsula Issues and Korea-China Relations," and all participants discussed it.
