Sejong Cybersecurity Center held the second Sejong Cybersecurity Forum on "Ransomware and National Security" at Somerset Palace, Seoul, on Thursday, January 27, 2022. The forum was hosted by Lee Sang Hyun (Sejong Research Institute) and presented by Yoon Doo-sik (Jiran Security Co., Ltd.) and Dr. Oh Il-seok (National Security Strategy Institute) on security countermeasures against ransomware. Professor Lim Jong-in (Korea University), Jeong Hyun-wook (Korea Institute of Criminal Affairs and Policy), and Shin Sohyun (Sejong Cybersecurity Center​) presented their views on domestic and international countermeasures against ransomware and national security. Representatives from the Society for Personal Information Protection, Science and Technology Policy, the National Security Institute, the National Security Institute, the National Security Strategy Institute, the National Foreign Service, the Information World Political Society, the Korea Cybersecurity Law Society shared diverse opinions. ​
