On May 18, 2022 (Wednesday), the Sejong Institute held its fourth Sejong Policy Forum under the theme of "Japan's Foreign Policy" at the Somerset Palace Hotel Seoul Seminar Room.
The forum began with the opening speech of Lee Sang Hyun, President of the Sejong Institute. Lee Dae-woo, Director of the Department of Security Strategy Studies of the Sejong Institute, moderated sessions. In the first session, Professor Park Yong Joon of Korea National Defense University, Professor Cho Yang-hyun of Korea National Diplomatic Academy, and Lee Myon Woo, Vice President of the Sejong Institute, presented under the theme of "Japan's East Asian Strategy and Relations with the Great Powers." In the second session, Jin Chang-soo, director of the Japan Research Center at Sejong Institute, Professor Lee Chang-min of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, and Lee Soo-hoon, Research Fellow researcher at the Korea Institute for Defense Analyses, presented under the theme of "Japan's East Asian Strategy and Korea-Japan Relations," and presenters and debaters had heated discussions.
Kim Jungsup, vice president of the Sejong Institute, participated as an observer again and led to a broader discussion.
