On June 9, 2022, Thursday, the Sejong Institute held a meeting of South Korea-U.S.-Japan spent fuel study group.
At the meeting, Lee Sang-hyun, President of the Sejong Institute, Kim Jung-sup and Lee Myeon-woo, Vice Presidents of the Sejong Institute, discussed cooperation with spent nuclear fuel management strategies among South Korea, the U.S. and Japan, the North Korean nuclear issue, and South Korea's Diplomacy in the aftermath of the Ukraine crisis
