On June 23rd, the Sejong Institute held its fifth Policy Forum on the topic of “Follow-up to the May 21 Korea-U.S. Summit" at the Somerset Palace located in Seoul.
The forum started with the opening speech of President Lee Sang Hyun of the Sejong Institute. Lee Daewoo, Director of the Department of Diplomatic Strategy Studies of the Sejong Institute, moderated sessions. Kim Joon hyung, chairman at the Korea National Diplomatic Academy, and Kim Youngho, professor at the Korea National Defense University, presented, and Park Won kon, professor at Ewha Womans University, and Kim Yong Hyun, professor at Dongguk University, discussed in terms of "South Korea-U.S.-North Korea relations" during the first session. During the second session, Lee hee-ok, professor at Sungkyunkwan University, and Choi won ki, professor at the Korea National Diplomatic Academy presented, and Kim Heung kyu, professor at Ajou University, and LEE Shin-wha, professor at Korea University discussed in terms of global aspects, specifically titled under "Indo and the Pacific."
