On August 26th, the Sejong Institute held its sixth Policy Forum on the topic of “The 100th anniversary of the Communist Party of China and the Korean Peninsula" at the Sejong Institute. The Forum was held virtually.
The forum started with the opening speech of President Lee Sang Hyun of the Sejong Institute. Lee Daewoo, Director of the Department of Diplomatic Strategy Studies of the Sejong Institute, moderated sessions. Lee Jungnam, professor at Korea University and Lee Namjoo, professor at Sungkonghoe University, presented, and Ha Dohyung, professor at the Korea National Defense University, and Chung Jae-hung, research fellow at the Sejong Institute, discussed the topic of "the 100th anniversary of the Communist Party of China: domestic evaluations and tasks" during the first session. During the second session, Kim Hankwon, professor at the Korea National Diplomatic Academy, and Lee dongmin, professor at Dankook University presented, and Lee Dong-ryul, professor at Dongduk Women's University, and Shin Jong-ho, research fellow at the Korea Institute for National Unification discussed the topic of "the 100th anniversary of the Communist Party of China: international evaluations and tasks." The forum was particularly fruitful as the chairman of the Sejong Institute, Moon Chung-in, participated.
