On October 28th, the Sejong Institute held its 8th Policy Forum on the topic of “AUKUS, and Indo-Pacific Strategies" at the Sejong Institute. The Forum was held at the Somerset Palace, Seoul.
The forum began with the opening speech of President Lee Sang Hyun of the Sejong Institute.
During the first session, Kim Ki-beom, a researcher at the Korea Institute of Defense, Lee Jae-hyun, a researcher at ASAN Institute, and Park Jae-guk, a professor at Korea University of Foreign Studies, presented, and Choi Woo Sun, and Park Jaejuk discussed the topic of "Indo-Pacific Strategy Environment and US-China Security Strategy". During the second session, Kim Young-ho, a professor at National Defense University, Kang Seok-yul, a researcher at the Korea Institute of Defense, and Jeong In-kyo, a professor at Inha University, and Choi Yoon Jung, a researcher at the Sejong Institute, discussed the topic of "Geopolitical Measures". Kim Jungsup, Vice President of the Sejong Institute, participated in the forum as an observer.
