On September 22, 2014, the Sejong Institute held the 4th Roundtable with a delegation from the International Department Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (IDCPC). The roundtable was moderated by senior researcher, Tai Hwan Lee and attended by President Song and researchers from the Sejong Institute. The participants shared their views on the ROK-China relations, unification of the Korean Peninsula, the North Korean regime, and rising China and its foreign policy. They also discussed issues related to the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, Asia’s Security, North Korean-Japan relations, North Korea’s nuclear program, China’s potential intervention on the peninsula in contingency operations related to the North, and etc.
