On June 7, 2019, the Sejong Institute conducted the 2019 Sejong-ISS Meeting at the Institute for Strategic Studies, Mongolia (ISS). The meeting was held as a part of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs's project to build the Northeast Asia Peace and Cooperation (NAPC) Platform. Chairman Baek Jong Chun, President Paik Haksoon, Director Lee Dae Woo of the Department of Security Strategy Studies, Visiting Research Fellow Hwang Jae Jun of the Sejong Institute, as well as research fellows of the ISS and personnels from the ROK Ministry of Foreign Affairs attended the event. Participants discussed topics related to multi and bilateral cooperation for Peace on Northeast Asia and the ROK-Mongolia cooperation for “East Asian Railway Community” initiative.
