On December 20, the Sejong Institute held the second ROK-China International Academic Conference jointly with Seongnam Municipal Government, Institute of Asia-Pacific Studies of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and Center for Korean Peninsula Studies at Peking University. The academic conference was an occasion for more than 10 scholars from Korea and China to intensely discuss ‘Recommendations for Peace on the Korean Peninsula,” “Tasks for the Plan on Northern Economy,” and “the Northern Economy and Roles of Regional Governments.”
