Tenth Sejong Policy Forum for 2018

On December 14, the Sejong Institute held the 10th Sejong Policy Forum of the year under the theme of “Kim Jong-un’s Possible Visit to Seoul and the Second DPRK-U.S. Summit.” The following list of people presented their views on the following topic regarding Chairman Kim’s visit to Seoul and his second meeting with President Trump.

-Lim Eul-chul (Kyungnam University Institute for Far Eastern Studies) “Kim Jong-un’s Visit to Seoul and the Discussions on Inter-Korean Economic Cooperation”

- Park Young-jeong (Korea Culture & Tourism Institute), ”Kim Jong-un’s Visit to Seoul and Inter-Korean Socio-Cultural Cooperation”

- Yang Un-Chul (The Sejong Institute), “Pyongyang’s Views on Easing Sanctions against Itself and Outlook on the Second DPRK-U.S. Summit”

- Woo Jung-Yeop (The Sejong Institute),“Washington’s Views on North Korea’s Denuclearization and the Peace Regime on the Korean Peninsula and the Outlook on the Second DPRK-U.S. Summit”

 

The Forum assembled together many other scholars such as Professor Lee Geun (Seoul National University), Professor Chung Kyung-young (Hanyang University), Professor Moon Jang-ryul (Korea National Defense University), Director Park Jee-Kwang (the Sejong Institute), Director Hong Hyun-ik (the Sejong Institute), and Research Fellow Choi Eunjoo (the Sejong Institute) to discuss the given theme.
