Topic 1: Social scientific explanation how China emerged as a strong and prosperous country in the 1990's although it experienced a political and economic instability for a while after the collapse of the Soviet Union and socialist countries in East Europe in 1989-1991.
Topic 2: Complicated and bizarre interrelationship between the US and China as G2 in the international politics, reason why they must transcend realistic structure of power game, and characteristics of nationalism harbored by the two countries.
Topic 3: Influence of the G2 upon Northeast Asian situation and Korea's diplomatic policy.
Topic 4: Implication of the Korea-China strategic cooperative partnership established in 2008.
Topic 5: Shock waves of the Cheonan-Ham incident in Northeast Asia.
Topic 6: Future direction of the Korea-China relationship and how to understand China in order to finetune Korea's China policy.
