On June 28, 2018, the Sejong Institute and Gaesong Industrial District Foundation held a seminar on the future of the Inter-Korean Relations and the Gaesong Industrial District at Seoul Press Center. The seminar started with Sejong Institute’s President Haksoon Paik’s opening remarks, Chairman of the GID Foundation Jinhyang Kim’s welcome remarks and Vice President Changgeun Yoo’s congratulatory remarks. Moderated by Dr. Seong-chang Cheong, Vice President of Research Planning Division of the Sejong Institute, and Chairman Jinhyang Kim, the seminar invited special experts and guests, including former unification minister Dongyoung Cheong and Jongseok Lee, and discussed measures to promote Inter-Korean cooperation and the Gaesong Industrial District.
