File 2018 8th Sejong Policy Forum Summary

On September 13, the Sejong Institute held the 8th Sejong Policy Forum on the topic of “Strategies for the Third Inter-Korean Summit: Paths for Denuclearization and Development of Inter-Korean Relations” at the New Gukje Hotel in Seoul. Beginning with President Paik Haksoon’s welcoming remarks, the forum included presentations by Professor Koh You-hwan (Dongguk University), Dr. Cheong Seong-chang (Vice President of Research Planning, the Sejong Institute), Dr. Cho Seong-ryoul (Principal Research Fellow, Institute for National Security Strategy), Professor Moon Jang-ryul (Korea National Defense University), Professor Lim Eul-chul (Kyungnam University) on the negotiation strategies at the third inter-Korean summit scheduled to be held between 18 and 20.

- Lim Eul-chul (Kyungnam University), "Discussions on Inter-Korean Economic Cooperation"

At this forum, relevant experts and government officials including Professor Kim Dong-Yeop (Kyungnam University), Dr. Jeong Young-tae (Institute of North Korean Studies), Professor Chun Hyun-joon (Woosuk University), etc. added their policy recommendation at the forum to contribute to the success of the third inter-Korean summit in 2018.
