On October 11, the Sejong Institute held the 2018 Korea-Russia Forum at the Far Eastern Federal University in Vladivostok, Russia. As part of establishing the public-private network for the 2018 Northeast Asia Platform for Peace and Cooperation project led by the ROK Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the forum was a venue for security, economy experts from both countries to discuss bilateral cooperation and trilateral cooperation with North Korea. The participants sought to lay a common understanding on these agendas and a common ground between South Korea’s New Northern Policy and Russia’s New East Policy.
