On November 24, the Sejong Institute held the 10th Sejong Policy Forum (Closed Worshop) to discuss prospects of Northeast Asia in 2016. The forum was divided into two sessions. In the first session, Dr. In-hyo Seol from Korea Defense Institute and Dr. Yang Hyun Cho from the Korea National Diplomatic Academy assessed the United States, Japan, and Relevant International Order.” In the second session, Prof. Yo-hwan Ko from Dongkuk University, Prof. Jae-cheol Kim from Catholic University, and Dr. Dong-joo Suh from the Institute for National Security Strategy assessed China, Russia, and North Korea in 2015 and made prospects for 2016. Each presentation was followed by discussion in which many prominent government officials and experts from various academic circles participated as panelist and exchanged their expertise and perspectives on Northeast Asia in 2016.
