The Sejong Institute held a "Korea-U.S. Joint Seminar" on December 6 at two research institutes in Los Angeles.

Titled "Changes in U.S. Foreign Policy Under the New Administration and Responses," the seminar invited policy experts from both Korea and the U.S. to discuss the anticipated changes in U.S. foreign policy under the second term of the Trump administration, as well as the future direction of the Korea-U.S. alliance and trilateral cooperation between Korea, the U.S., and Japan. The seminar focused on exploring the Trump administration's policies on China (Taiwan), North Korea, and the Russia-Ukraine war, and sought to identify ways to enhance Korea-U.S. cooperation.

On the morning of December 6, the seminar was held at the RAND Corporation in Santa Monica, California. The session featured free discussions on topics such as the Indo-Pacific crisis, the Ukraine war, U.S.-China relations, the Taiwan issue, North Korea's nuclear problem, Russia-North Korea cooperation, and the Ukraine conflict.
