The Sejong Institute held a meeting on February 11 (Tuesday) afternoon with experts from the Nakasone Peace Institute(NPI), with the topic of "Evaluation and Outlook of the Situation on the Korean Peninsula." The discussion covered the outcomes and future tasks of the recent U.S.-Japan summit, outlook and strategy for U.S.-South Korea relations, South Korea-US-Japan cooperation, Japan's response measures to North Korea's  possession of nuclear weapons, Japan's defense policy, and reflections on international political situations.
