On March 11, 2022, the Sejong Institute held the Opening Ceremony and Orientation for the 13th class of Sejong Academy for Young Leaders.

After the ceremony, there was an orientation with the introduction of the institute and education guideline, followed by students' self-introduction and election of the student council. After the orientation, the Chairman of the Sejong Institute Moon Chung-in gave the lecture on the topic of "The US-China Hegemonic Competition and Korea's Strategic Choice."

Academy students (total of 20) selected for the purpose of training the next-generation in the field of diplomacy, security and unification will take lectures on related topics and make discussions every other Friday from March 11 (Fri.) to June 24 (Fri.), 2022.​
