On June 8, 2023, the Sejong Institute invited Former President of Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) Seongcheol Shin to give a special lecture on the Sejong National Strategy Program participants under the theme of "National Science and Technology Strategy in the Age of Technologcal Hegemony in the 21st Century."​
