On Friday, August 11, the Sejong Institute held a Workshop on Korea-Japan-China Trilateral Cooperation​ with the sponsorship of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. With the purpose of promoting the participation for the thesis competition on the same topic, the workshop invited three lecturers from different fields-Professor Choi Jae-mok of Yeongnam University, Professor Lee Wang-hwi of Ajou University, and Professor Lee Jaeseung of Korea University- and educated the participants on the cultural, economic, and political aspect of trilateral cooperation between Korea, Japan, and China. Finally, Tsubota Kaoru from the Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat informed the participants of the Secretariat’s role and major projects. After each lecture students posed questions on related topics and pondered on the path to trilateral cooperation.
