Analysis and Implications of Xi Jinping's 3rd term leadership: Focusing on the selection of leadership and internal and external policy stance


1. Solidification of Xi Jinping's "One-Man Leadership"
❍ At the recent 20th Party Congress and "Two Sessions" of the Communist Party of China, President Xi Jinping was inaugurated for the third time as the party's General Secretary, President, and Chairman of the Central Military Committee, leading to Xi Jinping's 3rd Administration.
❍ President Xi's extension of power broke existing political practices, and a "charismatic" leader comparable to Mao Zedong and Deng Xiaoping reappeared on the Chinese political stage.
❍ As the party's Central Committee Politburo, the Central Political Bureau, the State Council, and its subordinate department's leaders are replaced by President Xi's aides, the power division structure has collapsed and the collective leadership has been undermined....
