On August 11, 2020, the Sejong Institute held the twelfth colloquium of this year. Dr. KIM Jungsup, Senior Research Fellow, presented his paper on the topic of " The Issues and Tasks of OPCON Transfer."   

On August 25, 2020, the Sejong Institute held the thirteenth colloquium of this year. Dr. CHUNG Eunsook, director of the Department of Security Strategy Studies, presented her paper on the topic of “The Future of New START and the Implications of International Strategic Stability.”   

On August 25 (Tue.), 2020, the Center for East Asian Cooperation of the Sejong Institute held an internal seminar. Dr. PARK Da Jung, a visiting research fellow of the institute, presented her paper on the topic of “The Impact of the Sino-Soviet Treaty of Friendship and Alliance (August 1945) on the U.S. Korea Policy.”   

Korea-Europe Policy Network Meeting 2020, co-hosted by the Sejong Institute and Stiftung Wissenschaft und Politik (SWP) and sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea, was held from August 31 to September 1, 2020 at the Westin Chosun Hotel Seoul as a virtual conference.”
