George Washington Institute for Korean Studies Visit
On August 9th, 2022, Tuesday, from 14:00 to 16:00, the Sejong Institute held a meeting with a visiting group of George Washington Institute for Korean Studies. At the meeting, Lee Sang Hyun, president of the Sejong Institute, Lee Myon Woo, vice president of the Sejong Institute, and Cheong Seong-chang, Director of the Center for North Korean Studies, discussed about current situation on the Korean Peninsula.
Fourteenth Colloquium of 2022
On August 16 (Tuesday), at the Sejong Institute's fourteenth colloquium of 2022, Jeong Gye-young, China Fellow, presented "the formation and change of the alliance between North Korea and China from the perspective of China." It was hosted by Lee Daewoo, Director of the Department of Security Strategy Studies. The contents of the presentation and discussion will be published later in Sejong Policy Brief.
Mansfield Foundation Experts Visit
On August 16, 2022, Tuesday, the Sejong Institute held a meeting with Asian next-generation experts from Mansfield Foundation from 15:45 to 17:15. At the meeting, Lee Sang Hyun, president of the Sejong Institute, Lee Myon Woo, Vice President of the Sejong Institute, and Choi Yoon Jung, Director of the Department of Diplomatic Strategy Studies, discussed about Asian security and economy.​​​
