The Sejong Institute held the first Sejong Policy Forum of 2020 on the theme of “A Shift on the Korean Peninsula and Grand Strategy for Peace” on January 22, 2020. The forum consisted of three sessions – Session I: Visions and Diplomacy that bring about Peace on the Korean Peninsula, Session II: Peace guaranteeing Defense/Security, Session III: Peaceful Co-existence and Unification, Realizing Prosperity through Peace.   

On January 21, 2020, the Sejong Institute held the second colloquium of this year. Dr. Hong Hyun-ik, Senior Research Fellow, presented his paper on the topic of “Methods for Realizing the Concept of Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) as an International Peace Zone.”   

On February 11, 2020, the Sejong Institute held the third colloquium of this year. Dr. Koh Seonkyu, Visiting Research Fellow at the Institute for Information, Coordination and Innovation of Waseda University, presented his paper on the topic of “Artificial Intelligence (AI) and ROK’s Foreign and Security Policy.”
